Open face Avocado Sandwich

Butter or Avocados, I would say Avocado. I love these little greens too buttery for a bite! This sandwich is one of my pleasures. It's great, no hassles lunch, or dinner, just face it! Sometimes, we do not feel like cooking.
If you cut the bread into smaller squares and toasted them in the oven, this would make a great appetizer. Any recipe that invites Avocados, invites me too! They are so tasty and requires no cooking at all. That makes my life simple! I will not call this as a recipe at all, it does not require much do about.

Open Face Avocado Sandwich
(Print this Recipe)

You need:

2 Ripe Avocados
4 slices of whole Wheat bread
1 lemon
2 Tbsp Tomato sauce (recipe below)
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp crushed fresh pepper
4 slices of tomato
2 Jalapeno pepper (finely chopped)
Salt to taste

Cut the Avocados into half, and take off the seed. Add the tomato sauce in the center, let it not flow out. Over the sauce add minced garlic, Jalapeno, and fresh pepper. Place a slice of tomato on top of it. Sprinkle salt over the Avocado.

Place this on one slice of bread. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp of lemon and serve 1/2 slice if required. If you find it difficult to it as it is, cut the base and which will serve for another sandwich.
This makes a wholesome breakfast or even a lunch.

(Note: Instead of tomato sauce, you use pasta sauce too! But do not use ketchup, or maggi sauce)

If you find difficult to take out Avocados without crushing them, then mash the avocados and spread like butter over a slice of bread and sprinkle all ingredients on top of it.

How to Choose Ripe Avocados?

Choose avocados that are soft to the touch, without feeling like they’re totally mushy under the skin. It should be firm-ish, but yield when pressed with a finger. A ripe avocado shouldn’t be hard, like a fresh apple. It should feel more like pressing on a piece of semi-firm cheese.

How to keep mashed avocado from discoloring

Avocados discolor rapidly when exposed to air. Adding lemon or lime juice will help keep your mashed avocado greener longer.

Avocado Nutritional Benefits

Avocados provide nearly 20 essential nutrients, including fiber, potassium, Vitamin E, B-vitamins and folic acid. They also act as a "nutrient booster" by enabling the body to absorb more fat-soluble nutrients, such as alpha and beta-carotene and lutein, in foods that are eaten with the fruit.
